Hey Shasta Pilots,
Whats with the I-recruitment job page??? I cant get anything to work. You try to log in or register and the page just stares at you. Anybody have a clue? Can you still submit a resume by going to [email protected]?? Any help would be good.
Thanks

My understanding is that they have another airplane coming soon which is why they are having a class next month. When a friend of mine took my resume into HR he was told that they had already filled that class, but not to get discouraged because they have options for 9 more. They need to 1) Get court approval (In bankruptcy) 2) Get financial backing -or- Come out of bankruptcy.

The hiring right now is to replace the latest round of upgrades and up the staffing levels, not for the new airplane. Another airplane is coming around June/July and they will be hiring probably around 10 more to staff for that additional aircraft. The class next month is of people left over from last fall from what I heard. The latest numbers I heard were somewhere around hiring 24 people this year. Not many, but in this economy it's something. Yes, pay is not so great, airplanes are still newish, lots of minor problems from work rules to schedules. Upgrade will probably take around 1.5-2 years unless the economy turns around and those new airplanes come fast. The next 9 airplanes are on option, but not confirmed, they still need financing for them. They also just put in place new upgrade mins which are basically going to require 3000TT unless you have 750 hrs in the Q400, in which it will be 2500TT and a good amount of ME. There are certainly worse places to be. Good luck.
