Exclamation PSA Airlines REFUSING to Compensate Pilots for MANDATORY Training

Apparently the think tank at the higher echelons of management at PSA feel they have the right to bully employees into completing training without compensation.

Nobody works for free in this country. Working for free is not an option. These employees happen to be pilots. Being a pilot at a Part 121 scheduled airline is not an indentured servitude. Without Pilots, PSA Airlines is nothing. Don't forget that.

The brains over at PSA Airlines are now threatening to claim any pilot who does not work for free will be committing an illegal job action.

Not only does management at PSA Airlines threaten its employees job security PSA Airlines is also dispatching flights that are based on the new training as if it had been implemented. The management at PSA Airlines is creating a safety of flight issue.

I'm sorry PSA Airlines, this is not how it works. This is the United States, and you cannot force, or compel any free citizen to work without compensation.

It is borderline criminal to threaten any individual in an attempt to compel them to work for no compensation as if their livelihood depended on it.

Some oversight from the state, and federal government might be warranted in order to protect workers rights. Some investigation from the FAA might be necessary in order to protect the flying public, and flight crews who are could possibly be operating under duress in this hard economic times.
