Bartending's great if you have a cool manager and flexible schedule...however, don't forget bar's are open until 2am, you're out the door after inventory and clean up by 330-4 on a busy night. It can wear on you. AND, if you don't have any bartending experience chances are just about anywhere they'll start you out as a host, bus boy, bar back, or server. Good luck!

Be a de-icer. You are already at the airport, possibly making more than at your pilot gig, so if you get called tell your boss you gotta jet in an hour and go over to ops where you can leave a suitcase packed at go to work. Or drive one of those plows too, I always thought that would be fun.

Try finding privately owned small businesses that need part-time help. They usually do schedules on a weekly or monthly basis, so they'll work with your changing airline schedule, just be upfront with them when you go in for your interview.

Delivering pizzas is not a bad gig.. I did it for a while when I first started instructing until I got too many students. All you do is drive around, listen to music and collect money,... and sometimes other things
I've also heard that substitute teaching isn't a bad idea either. Very flexible.

I worked for a friends pizza place and brought home like $50 a night in tips.
Where do you live?

Shovel snow! Make quilts! Build ice fishing huts! My goodness, I can never figure out why humans even live up there! There is like 9 1/2 months of cold weather!
