hum... I remember when AE Jetstreams crawled all over florida like ants.... hell they use to fly MIA to PBI ....like seven trips a day......

Preferential bidding system

While the details vary, the concept is the same. Instead of the company building bid lines, crews build their own lines in senority order. It is great for the senior guys and very bad for the junior guys.

You do need to qualify that statement. Depending on how it's set up and how much control your union has, if you have one, will determine if it's fair across the seniority list or not. LOT bidding wasn't any better if the planners wanted to put all the good trips together on a line.

What you are saying is true. How the program is set up can increase the number of happy campers and reduce the number that are ****ed off.

I guess I'm showing my age;) I remember doing 5 round trips from MIA to EYW in the BE-99.
