Default Heartened or disheartened

I know things are tough right now, but is anyone heartened by the news that American and Air Tran are recalling pilots? Maybe these two instances are very much company specific, but recalls are certainly better than the alternative. We're a long way from good times, but with all of the bad news, a little good news can't hurt.

I don't think the AirTran pilots will see much difference, seeing they weren't gone long at all. HOWEVER, AA/TWA pilots WILL see a difference. Although their pay isn't as bad as some "Legacy" payscales.
Still, ANY recalls are good in my mind.

Talked to a JetBlue guy tonight and he said that they are going through with a class or two next month and they may start hiring again in May.

Considering the way the stock market is reacting, it's hard to be positive about the next year or so. Still, I have noticed little snippets here and there about pilots being recalled. It's certainly not horrible news, but I am just curious if there airline execs are seeing an upturn or is this just reshuffling the deck chairs for summer flying. Thinking about, I guess it's the latter.

Maybe it's because so many of us are getting fed up with this business... Almost makes it hard to Love my job. Almost.
