Does anyone know if pilots have been getting furloughed recently with American Eagle at DFW? :confused:

no, extended LOA's up to 5 years were offered to keep from having to furlough. About 20 pilots per month are leaving on their own

Wow that is alot. Do you know if there changing careers or looking for better jobs with security (not sure if that concept exists anymore in this day and age).

So what is the current pilot count? APC shows as 2800. Is that accurate?

20-30 pilots a month were leaving early last year through the summer. Since Fall maybe 5-10 pilots leaving a month if that. No furloughs yet or announced.

I've heard American Eagle might actually be hiring again within the next 3 months.
