Looking at it, I am kind of glad they blocked open time in the northeast. What was happening was guys in KORD and KDFW were able to drop their entire month of RSV (overstaffing in dallas and chicago) and then they would go around the system and pick up open time to build themselves a line. These guys would fly 80 hours a month while reserve guys who played by the rules were flying 10 hours a month because the open time was disappearing.

I don't care if you think you have the system figured out or not; play by the rules the rest of us do. We're all at the bottom together and you're not entitled to get ahead while the rest of us can't do anything.

and closing BOS did make sense? right? Why would you EVER expect anythign AMR does to make sense... let's see... tow bases 180 miles apart..... close one, and open another.... now two bases 8 miles apart.

Yep, makes perfect sense.... and Delta is going to put the MD's back on the DCA/NYC routes and get rid of the undercutting subcontractor too.
