Default Colgan 3407 Accident Road Shows

Flight 3407 Briefing Sessions Set for
March 16—19, 2009

Beginning Monday, March 16, the MEC will hold a series of meetings to update pilots on the progress and timeline of the Flight 3407 investigation. These briefing sessions (details follow) will be held continuously during the periods specified below. All Colgan pilots are encouraged to attend; no RSVP is required.

Members of the ALPA Investigation Team—including Colgan pilots, a representative from ALPA’s Accident Investigation Board, and Engineering & Air Safety Department staff—will brief pilots and answer questions. Please keep in mind that NTSB rules restrict dissemination of information not already released to the public. Therefore, the nature of the briefings and any discussions will be kept within those bounds.

Since this is an ALPA thing I think it should be available to all ALPA pilots, regardless of airline. The findings of this accident will affect all of us so everyone should be welcomed.
