From XJT regarding interview dates, questions to answer regarding failed checkrides etc. Does this usually mean i am getting an interview?

IS there a phone interview still that i an expect?

I recieved the same email yesterday morning

When did you folks send in your resume? I sent it in about a week and a half ago and am still waiting. I sent my resume a while back and got a call the next day, but ended up not getting an interview, but I wasn't expecting one at the time, but now I am really hoping for one.

I sent in my app about 4-5 weeks ago

From what I hear that usually an e-mail with an interview date, and your travel itinerary follows for the most of the people that get this e-mail.
So hopefully we get an interview :)

Waiting For XJT COnfirmation
 

I applied back in April for the first time ever with XJT. However, I did not hear from them in a while. Then I contacted the HR dept. just a week ago. They explained a new system was put into place. Try recreating a profile and I be less then a week will contact you! Sure enough two days later got the e-mail. I have sent it back on Friday pre holiday weekend so maybe something more like a confirmation will be sent this week :)!

Anyone receive a confirmation or reply yet?

Nothing form XJT but Colgan sent me an email asking if i wanted to interview june 6th

Colgan gave me a phone screening about 2-3 weeks ago, then asked me to be at LGA the next day for an interview... long story short, I didn't make it to that interview.. :rolleyes:

yeah they did the same thing to me 3 weeks ago. Didnt make it either.
I dont think i can make this one either because i have a $6500 Hawiaan criuse July1 - 10. XJT will be the only one at this point to fit into my schedule.

I looked at a similar thread on flightinfo.com and no one over there has received an email reply either.

I think since it said that we have to reply to the e-mail by the 2nd of June, nothing will show up until then atleast.

That was also my underlying logic.

I have a lot of trips coming up in the month of June, apparently the one trip is going to have me out of town for 7-10 days. I am hoping that if I am offered an interview date they will be somewhat flexible if I am unable to make it; perhaps allowing me to come at the next date.

Buffalopilot, getting that email doesn't guarantee that you are getting an interview. I sent my resume in on April 1, got that same email on April 18 and chose the last interview date of the choices they gave me, and that was yesterday. No call, no other contact, just total ignore.

I think the problem with me was that the first question was "We're currently hiring people who can start within 3 weeks of interviewing, is this you?" or something to that effect. I had PLAINLY put an availability date of July on my resume and they last day they gave me for a possible interview was May 30th, so there was no way I could do that. Told them so in the return email that I wouldn't be available until the 1st week of July since I am on active duty until 30 June, and then I got ignored.

I wish you the best, and maybe I'll be reapplying in the future (think I probably have to wait 6 months, right), but for right now I am pursuing other options. Looking into Law Enforcement in my local community.

Does everyone who gets "the email" get invited for an interview?

Of course pending you dont put something in that message that disagrees with their plans; i.e. you state that you would not be available for training within 3 weeks of interview date.

No interview yet, but I am shopping around since the grey one I did my last interview in was a little too light...

I'd say 2 button; more traditional and conservative.

I think it depends on what date you chose. FI has some guy saying that he's heard back as well but he chose the 6th. I chose a later date and have not heard back.

Heard from a bud that they are replying to emails. He got his today, after answering the 12 questions like week or two ago, application like a week or so before that.

He's going to interview next Wed. June 7th. He has 2600TT, 2200 PIC piston, 300 SIC jet, 1300 multi, current 135 SIC.
