Express Jet Branded Planes in ORD
 

been seeing the X-jet Branded 145XR' in ORD the last few days parked at the United Express gates. Whats Up with that? X-Jet doing feed for United now too??:eek:

Yup. They have so many RJ's sitting around not doing anything, they undercut the **** out of the other feeders. They're taking losses doing the flying, but not as much of a loss as those jets sitting around doing nothing

I think UAL hired them to do some temp flying out of IAD for the summer. It's not the first time UAL has done this. I'm not quite sure who they're covering for, as they can't be cheaper then TSA/GoJets or Mesa.

If it's at their current rates for CAL then yes. Branded is shuts down and still in the red.

sure they can. as stated previously doin it cheaper is still a loss for them, but not as big of a loss as idle aircraft. so ANYTHING they get from it is just gravy.

wow. Never heard that they signed an agreement with em. I would assume that its just temporary. the XR's look pretty cool in the branded paint scheme.

Wow talk about misinformation, but no surprises who is coming from.

First the United contract is temporary, only through the summer to cover the added volume through the summer out of ORD and IAD. It's NOT a CPA, thus it was booked through our charter, and although the rates have not been disclosed it was booked at a profit. All this information is available to the public.

No feelings involved. I don't care one way or another. XJT is just another regional. Someone asked a question I answered. The information isn't publicly available as you'd suggest regarding UAL. I've only stated that "IF" the rates were what was stated by others from your company here then yes they are operating at a loss. Is this where you tell me "I don't have time to read financial reports"? Is this where you say "Things are just fine here and going as planned"? If you're saying that my feelings for XJT are obvious, meaning the actual company and not the pilot group, then yes I feel the company is led by bad management. As far as the pilot group goes I've never to this day spoken against any pilot group even gojets. Don't go putting words in people's mouth. It's not my fault you can't comprehend.
