Default pinnacle questions

I am applying at Pinnacle and was wondering about their guaranteed number of days off and the possibility of commuting out west thanks for the help.

Pinnacle should be your last place to apply, it should be your plan F. Not a good place to be, not to mention uncertain future. Don't just apply, study the airlines first. Look at Pinnacle's annual report, it's a joke. They are about 95% depended on NW for their operations, if NW goes down tomorrow Pinnacle will follow. They say that they are looking to provide service to other regionals and upgrade to 76 seats, it's probably not going to happen as everything they do, they have to ask for a blessing from NW. Avioid them, they started paying for hotel and allowance during training because nobody would go there. That being said, it is commutable just like any other regional, but if you haven't commuted before you will be in for a shock. If this is your first airline job I would hang around the base untill you hold a line, reserve will be brutal.

I say go for it if you live in MSP, DTW, or MEM. Commuting is brutal if it has to be 2-3 legs. Even a short hop like MSP-ORD can be tough at times. I've thought about jumping ship over to Peanuckle once my contract is up since I live in MSP, but the intro of Compass has really made their future uncertain. I'd hate to get hired and then fired 3 months later.
