Here's a speculative prediction. When United goes to declare bankruptcy this fall, the government steps in and makes it the AIG or GM of the airline industry.

Don't you mean RAH will give UAL a loan to survive? That seems to be the pattern. Also, thanks to Tilton, UAL is no longer "too big to fail". Hooray for 40% capacity reductions.
