Default Longevity at Mainline?

Does anyone know if the flow-through agreements at American Eagle and/or Compass include portability of longevity to their respective mainline carrier, or does longevity start over when the pilot flows-through?

Also, are there any other regional airlines that currently have flow-through agreements other than AE and Compass?

Mesaba also has a flow agreement and longevity doesnt carry over at any of them. With the compass and mesaba flows, they do go to the front of the class as far as seniority is concerned in their specific newhire class. Off the streets are then put after them.

The flowthrough at american eagle has expired. There is no way to get hired at AE and flow through to AA. There are some CAs left at Eagle who were a part of that flowthrough and have seniority #s on AA's seniority list. Their Eagle seniority is not portable to AA. They start at year 1 pay and bidding seniority, but I believe they can keep some stuff like sick time accrued and possibly vacation.

It has been many many years since any AE pilot has moved from AE to AA. And it will be many many more years until the rest go(if any at all go).

I just want to say it again, do not try to get hired at Eagle in hope of someday flowing through to AA!
