Colgan is hiring! You can enjoy the northeast again on reserve on a $19k/yr pay!

No, Colgan has 2nd year FOs going to the left seat and Comair has 12 year Captains going to the right seat.

Other than that the suck is roughly equal.

$19,000 for a 70 seater? That's brutal. Flip burgers and be at home every night instead.

Being a Colgan guy I have no place in a comair thread but...with Alpa on property Colgan will not be a 19K a year airline for long. We will be working hard to get a contract and get what we deserve so although it is certainly not the shining star now it has potential for someone who comes on now and gets seniority in the future.......and then....

What has happened to every other top tier regional will happen to us

Great, now it is bait for an ALPA thread!...
I do really love the last statement. Be careful what you wish for, you may get it.

Question regarding ATP written. Since I am furloughed, the written is no longer valid, however if recalled, will the same written then become valid again?

Your written is good for 24 months and then it is expired. Period. It does not become valid again if you go back to your airline. However, you can use an expired written to obtain your ATP at your airline when you upgrade.

Thanks for that info, that is what I had meant to say, if recalled I can then use the expired written for the upgrade at Comair in 10-12 years....
