I sell my blood plasma, sad but true. It pays more than Flight Instructing does right now. No students, no money.

Anyone in Toledo needs a part time job / full time job I need an assistant for my Air Freight Broker gig. I am flexible with hours.

I used to work air freight before I started flying; let me know if you ever open a branch in DFW.

Lol, DTW is 45 miles from TOL. And it's just this branch. I work for a logistics firm, I just head the Air Services Division.

I worked the ramp when the flying got slow...not bad, you build contacts and reap the travel benefits. However, not to sound like a snob or anything, but I always felt weird, and never knew how to answer the question when people said "wait, you're a college grad, and you're a pilot but you're working here?"...still searching for a good answer, and not make myself look like a total degenerate.

I do some guitar playing around my state. The money is great! There are tens of dollars to be made in music!

I don't know exactly what you're saying, but working as a ramper does not indicate that they're a degenerate. I've known rampers with oodles of more character than many pilots.

I did have to answer similar questions when I worked jobs as a line cook and instructed. I just learned to not reveal my background. Then again, I wasn't trying to build contacts at Applebee's!
