By the way, after having ridden in the back of that E170, I agree, it is NOT a regional aircraft.

So, is a CRJ700 or 900 a regional aircraft? Let me understand your thought process, since you sat in the back and now can form an opinion. Engines near tail of airplane: good. Engines under wings: bad. Uncomfortable cabin: good. Comfortable cabin: bad. Air stairs: good. No air stairs: bad. Same amount of seats as a 700 but a 170: bad.

Ok..I get it now. Thanks.

Likewise, Delta has instructed all DCI carriers to NOT use the name of the company, and instead ONLY say Delta Connection. We were instructed to follow this mandate about a year ago.

People want to bash others without knowing the facts.

At NWA, we are encouraged to say something like, "Thank you for flying Northwest, now part of Delta," but when you ride on Pinnacle they say, "Thank you for flying Delta." Go figure.

Let it go. Reference the other 400 threads about Ejet vs. 700/900. Back to the call signs...

Hey, for a regional, at least your call sign matches the paint on the plane... You're probably one of the only regionals flying in their own colors not outright pretending to be somebody else....

They're not the only one!

Mom !! He's not saying his Callsign Correctly !!!! Really ?! Just be a professional and say the callsign as it is given to you. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't add possessive entitlement to your callsign, you just sound immature.

We get in trouble for not saying Eagle Flight. Garbage...!

What's the big deal. Just say "Eagle flight" and quit whining about it. Don't you have anything better to worry about?

willflyforcash 10-10-2009 04:30 AM

I usually say "Ego Flight".

But they sure as hell let Colgan use their name after Buffalo!
