Yeah, and they can have really high out of pocket maximums. I've seen some plans where you can have out of pocket maximums of $20K a year.(not specifically related to future SkyWest options)

They're really cheap, until you have a child or surgery. Then it's not so good.

Correct. When Age 65 retirements start happening (2012), the movement will be absolutely mind blowing. I think it starts with 300/yr and increases up to almost 600/yr at some point a few years after that. Combine that with the youngest pilot on the property at that point (age 37) and if you are first in line in a new hire class, your seniority will be mind boggling. AA will hire, we just have to wait for the 65ers to start retiring. Forget about growth, they've been very adamant in sticking to the "no growth without a concessionary pilot contract" mantra.
