Now, I'll tell you what's not fair. UPS will not allow me to be dual qualified on both the 747-400 and the A-380. I want to fly both, but I'll have to choose one over the other. I tell you, it's just not fair not to be able to fly both.

I like the idea life isn't fair. I find I work harder to get what I want in so called unfair environments/settings.

Dude, shut up with the heavy BS already. You're annoying. Don't you have some Algebra homework to do or something?

And to buffalopilot, don't worry about Colgan. A buddy of mine had to reschedule his interview 4 times, and was still hired. They're pretty reasonable people. Chuck Colgan has got the be one of the most easy going guys I've ever spoken with.

I've been trying to get a tour of a 121 operation - any suggestions? I understand security and such so I don't push the issue on the phone...

There's a couple places that do open houses every now and then, I think.

I remember when I worked the ramp at FedEx, there was a once yearly airshow at OAK, and they would have a couple planes out on display. But that was as close as you could get. Now, are you talking seeing what actually happens behind the scenes? Because there's a few good dvds out there on what you're looking for. Check out http://www.worldairroutes.com/ . Hope that helps!!

Dude! Why didn't you cancel the wedding and honeymoon? I cancelled my wedding for a UPS class date.

Just kidding with you....I did cancel my wedding for class at UPS though. Sounds like you are in demand.

Wow. Did you and your fiancee reschedule it or was that the last you heard of her?

If your future wife can't understand having to reschedule a wedding, which can be rescheduled, compared to a class at UPS / colgan, then she is going to be a problem, pilot's wife...

If an airline thinks you are good enough to work with them this month why don't they think you would be good enough to work for them next month. It's just someone having a power trip if they wouldn't reschedule an interview or class date.
