thanks but no thanks letter
 

does it say something different besides under review, once you have gotten the thanks, but no thanks letter when you check your application status?

It will most likely say "Not being considered at this time". That is what is posted on mine, unfortunately.:confused:

I threw in just for funsies (had a couple internal recs and wanted to see what'd happen). Applied 11/25, still "Being Reviewed." ATP, 2300TT/1700ME, 600 turbine.

Looks like AWAC is offering TOWOP again for Feb.

FWIW, apparently there is a class starting in February. Also, they will do phone interviews starting in early January with on-site interviews in January as well.

Anyone have updates for AWAC? Any recent interviews?

Just heard today that interviews will probably start around the middle of Feb with classes starting in March. They have received over 1000 applications and will only be hiring approximately 20 pilots. They are looking mainly at 135 guys but not interested in any of the Net Jets guys. They may also take some furloughed pilots from the likes of Mesa as long as they give up all recall rights at their previous airline. Supposedly there was a glitch in the software that was accepting resumes and erroneously sent out thanks but no thanks emails to applicants during the first application window. Those applications that were affected are still in the system and may still receive a call for interview. Sounds like interviews will be done in Appleton, WI.

Bummer for NJA guys. I know some good ones there, but they aren't planning on leaving.
