Yeah, a couple of my friends were in the same boat. Greener pastures my friend!

This is even screwing up us lowly instructors. Had a couple of instructors with a summer class date and now they won't be going anywhere. Had they gone, I'd have more students right now which would mean more hours and greater income.

If you are serious, that is one of the rudest and inconsiderate things that a 121 pilot can say to another. If that was a serious comment, you have just opened up one bad jar of karma

Default It sucks but...

Even sarcastic remarks sting here... The whole blojets thing is rank, especially after my neighbors kid was telling me he had ground school and was at Flite Safety(sp?), he over heard some blojet guy laughing about the furloughs and thanking all the TSA pilots for calling everything early, waiving their contract and working the 7th day as a part 91 repo due to mgmt pressure, carrying back broken airplanes so they don't have to write them up, and busting their keisters only to have United give blojets the flying... That even ****ed me off.... I now have an Alter Ego sticker that the kid gave me and will make sure this gets to our pilots.... As a former Waterskier, you guys will ALWAYS have my/our support.....

I have this eeeerie feeling that this isn't the first of the furloughs. Blowjets will likely be getting more and more flying from the TSA side. Hulas is a jerk. The day they moved their mx, ops, and office personell out of our FBO hangar was a happy day for us.

Ah, how I love how we cut each other's throats for a job and don't think about the repercussions that will result...

Hey thanks! Rumor I've heard from a buddy not given the shaft yet there is Sept.1 they are booting 32 more.

Hopefully it stays a rumor.

I guess I wont be getting that recall by November as promised. Excuse me while I go celebrate not needing to go back!
