Like I said.... easy way to make it fair (and Delta would probably love this, since it would free up seats for passengers.... oh wait....):
No more than 3 international travel days for CASS participant OAL carriers. I'm sure that it wouldn't be too hard to figure out how many times they've listed in CASS and traveled transoceanic... |

You guys don't get it. Management isn't willing to dedicate the manpower to fix computer issues for it's own employees. They do not care if the DCI employee's are upset about travel benis. |

Why restrict it in the first place? Delta pilots aren't restricted to 3 international days on United, Airways, etc??? Your idea is ridiculous. Just make it unlimited like it was with NW, it isn't a novel concept.
You know Delta isn't going to relax the ridiculous restriction, so why not make everyone equal who isn't on the Delta seniority list? |
Hopefully you realize that all the ZED and jumpseat agreements Pinnacle and other DCI get mirror what NW/DL-ALPA negotiates... anything they do will hurt us 10x more than the mainline pilots. Delta pilots can nonrev overseas as much as they like on DL. I take United overseas a few times a year (and they treat me much better than DL does) and I'd rather not lose that.

Actually. according to Travelnet, active employees and family, including parents, have unlimited transoceanic passes.

That's cool. So Delta treats everyone BUT its DCI's with respect... just wanted to make sure I understood Delta management's position. Meanwhile, I strive every day to be as professional and courteous to the passengers that we serve for Delta. Appreciate the recognition of it...
While prior management viewed the DCI companies in an ambivalent manner, the current management views them in a negative way, and are looking for any leverage to use against them. Making the employees disgruntled and causing passenger service to suffer may be a way to get the contract out they need. |
