Default Telex Airman 850

Anyone have one? Any good? Could you use one in the EMB 120? Thanks to anyone who can help.

I don't know how they would do on the EMB 120, but I love the headset. IMO, they are the best ones I have ever used. Very comfortable, and they fit me a lot better then the 750.

I have heard they are great. I don't know how they would work on the EMB-120, but a friend of mine uses them on the Q400, which has a lot of wind noise at lower altitudes and not as much prop noise, and loves them. He says they work great for that plane.

I was able to use a borrowed pair for a few weeks and my only complaint about them was that they had little or no sidetone when I talked on the radio... (Might have just been the headset, but it was like that on multiple CRJs). It was like talking into a void and took some getting used to. Otherwise I think that they are very comfortable and do a decent job of filtering out some of the noise...

Don't know how much they would filter out in the EMB120 though.

I know some people who use them in the EMB 120. You would need to use earplugs with them though. Just turn up the volume. The Brisila can be quite noisy in the cockpit.

My David Clamps, I mean Clarks, worked well in the twin otter. If I buy something new, I want to be able to use it both in a prop and jet. The Brisila can't be as loud as the Otter!

Has anyone used the Mach1 by LightSpeed? They seem to good to be true....Fits in the palm of your hand and same noise canceling as normal large headsets?
