Commuter Parking @ BOS
Hey all, I work for ASA and am being based in IAD starting next month and will be commuting from BOS. Anyone know how much parking is for commuters??? and also where the lot is?? How do I obtain a pass? How long does it take to get from the parking lot to the terminal....etc etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

When I was at OH I commuted several times BOS-JFK, but there was no crew lot for us. There is one for DL, but I'd heard that the folks running that lot got wise to OH crews trying to use it....seemed to be hit or miss, I never gave it a shot. As you probably know parking there isn't cheap, pre-flight may be your best option as ERJ mentioned. A lot of times I ended up just driving down to JFK anyway but if I did jumpseat down I would either get a ride or park at Alewife and get the T. Don't miss those days...

Dont know where you are driving from to get to BOS, but there are a lot of bus services that are really nice and convenient to get to the airport running on hourly or half hour schedules. C&J trailways if you come from Portsmouth NH area or Newburyport MA

The airport has parking for employees and a shuttle bus but I'm not sure where to get it and I've been told its $1000 a year, not really worth it when u can take the bus from framingham or worburn and I'm aure its alot more affordable. try www.massport.com for info about busses

Logan Express in Framingham, Braintree, Woburn, Peabody. Framingham is $65 month plus $75 for 40 one way bus tickets (enough for 9 months for me). Just show your employee ID to the cashier at the parking lot. I've heard that some hotels will let you park for free and ride thier shuttle (just need to tip the driver really good).

Logan Express
Logan Express doesn't run late at night - so if you get in late - wx delay etc - you have to take a taxi or sleep in the airport. I think you have to pay to park in the logan express lots but you can or at least a while back - get a coupon book from Mass port for discount tickets on the bus - maybe parking as well. Preflight probably the best bet -
