Start up Southern California part 135 charter company...

no website to check out.... company is called SOCIAL AIR CHARTERS

Capt requirements: 2000TT, 300 hrs in Q400. ATP, w/ 1st class medical.

FO requirements: min of 1000TT, w/ 100 hrs in Q400, commercial multi, with current 2nd class medical.

SCAC is a LA based operator focused on federal transportation contracts throughout the US. Pilots interested in applying must be willing to relocate within 2 weeks of hire date.

... Looks like the only way to apply is to do it through climbto350.com and click on the apply now button.... no company contact info is posted in ad.

Hope this helps

Well, if it's a start up company, I doubt you'll find any info...

Pretty interesting. I should forward this to EVERYONE who works at Colgan or Lynx who lives on the west coast. Their mins are REALLY low..At this stage in the industry I dont think I even know anyone in the Q400 who doesnt even meet the captain mins.

Mins are way to low for the Q, will this industry ever learn. Netjets had it right, 2500 min for an F/O, which BTW was what Lynx required (preferred) for an F/O when we started up.

I wonder what the pay is?
