Yes, posting under multiple accounts (after being asked to stop). FYI to all, multiple accounts are not allowed on the forums.

Then I guess SkyBolt is truly NOT SkyHigh's secret other identity!

Thank you HSLD,
He (and a few others) really brought down the integrity of this forum with their prejudism and incorrigibility.I am guilty of allowing myself to become aggravated by their sexist remarks, and more than once have struck my comments as I didn't want to lower myself to that level ( even though I think I managed to do so anyway at times) At any rate, I wish him goodness and maturity wherever he is!

"Did he/she get banned?"

"Yes"

For a long time, I've felt the leadership of this forum was making a mistake by not being more agressive with Browntail. Somebody with Browntails posting history would be long gone, in short time, from the other aviation career forum I'm active at. Getting rid of him is long overdue, I think.

In spite of some folks thinking Browntail was some kid with no clue, based on similar posting style and timing of some posts, I believe he's one of two UPS pilots who post a lot at the IPA bar and grill.

Everyone needs to realize that Brownstain is, or should I say was, an anomaly. I would hope that the fine folks at this website wouldn't draw conclusions about the UPS pilot group based on his postings at this site.

I'm sure he'll be back, soon, with a different screen name. His style, which does nothing more than stroke his ego by bringing attention to himself, is unmistakable.

So Long Browntail....so glad to see you go....

I take it that your volunteering to help moderate the forums?

We've made the request many times asking for volunteers to help moderate the forums, in the past year we've had one volunteer. It seems nobody wants to contribute to the cause - they only want to take. That's fine with us and we're happy to provide the online resource - but at the end of the day a few guys can only do so much. Without volunteers, the forum is what it is.

I think this resource has the opportunity to become one of the premier aviation forums on the net (it's off to a good start if I may say so), but we're at a crossroads. Without additional manpower, growth and quality control will be less than what we know it should be.

Personally it's gratifying to see so many talented, experienced, and helpful pilots visiting the forums. The tact and willingness to answer posts and questions is truly inspiring.

In the spirit of community, allow us to again invite anyone who shares a long term goal of growing this forum into a sustainable, credible, and valuable asset to claim some ownership. We could use some help managing the forum itself.

Anyone who is interested, Please PM me I'd like to chat with you. Otherwise, suck it up and deal the Browntails of the world.
