Armageddon!
Driving to work this morning, the craziest thought popped in my head and I kicked myself for even letting it creep into my head. What if the regionals got so big that even they started contracting out their work to "sub-regionals"? This may sound crazy, but it has happened in many other industries and it could very well happen to ours. Anyone share this fear?

That's why scope, not pay, is by far the most important section in every unions contract. |
Funny that you should bring this up. I just heard on NPR, maybe on Monday (?) that Wal-mart was outsourcing some Positions at Sam's Club. How can you get lower than minimum wage and no benefits?

I just threw up in my mouth.......

yikes, that is a scary thought. hopefully all of the retirees to come will slow that possibility, but it might be an inevitable eventuality. i sure hope not!

Haven't they already done that. TSA flying to Gojets. Mesa with Freedom.

I know Go! contracted out Mokule (I think) as Go! Express

For a while there, it was RAH paying SkyWest for Midwest Connect...what is this world coming to?!

Funny thought, however, if the mainline wanted someone cheaper, why pay the middle man, just go to the source and not pay the middle man the profit
