Default SKW E-120 Precautionary Engine Shutdown

Sorry if this is a repost. I know this Captain very well and he's one of our greats. He's an EMB-120 Check-Airmen in FAT who's flown as my FO a few times when we were short handed. He's truly one of our best, Nice job Captain M & First Officer P!!!

I'm certain the emergency was truly minor and only precautionary, but in this day and age with all of us under attack we need to pat each other on the back every once and while and just say, "Nice Job."

You're welcome.

That was my first action as a mod. I can officially say I don't have a life now!

They had one of these in PDX a few months back as well. I think the aircraft had a history. Wonder if it was the same one... Regardless, good job!

Just to chime in with another perspective, I don't really think they necessarily deserve a commendation. They probably did what was expected of them, nothing more or less.

It reminds me of a Chris Rock skit:

Some woman: "I take care of my kids"
Chris Rock: "You're supposed to! What'cha want a cookie?!"
