Skywaste puts lots of things on paper in writing that they NEVER intend to keep.

EMB120s are like cockroaches. Old, Ugly, and have an uncanny ability to stick around when they should have died.

(I was going to say smell bad but I don't really know what a cockroach smells like. I was just assuming)

Newty, shouldn't you be looking for a new employer or a new career?

I'm nowhere near as po-ed at SKW as you are and I'm considering doing something else. Your level of negativity is not good for you.

I think the E120 is a good looking old lady whose pasted her prime but can still hang with the younger boys. I think I’ll start calling her “Mrs. Robinson.”

What else would you suggest I do? Here is my skill set, 14 years cabinetry, 4 years drywalling, 2 years electrical apprentice. Notice that those are all construction trades, any guess on how the construction industry is right now? Next up, Grand canyon river guide 13 years, paid well, seasonal, I would go back but all our old guides like me who moved on to other things and then found themselves in a tanking economy have already come back and taken all the openings. Flew for a 135 operator in bethel ak, flew freight for a year at a now defunct company, now I'm on 3rd year pay in the right seat of the bro. Work is not easy to find right now so instead of blowing my brains out I kayak and I use internet forums to vent my disgust with some of the **** my employer pulls. My level of negativity does need to come down a bit though. I'll try and not call them skywaste anymore. Hopefully you are having a fantastic day, in whatever base in whatever seat in whatever airframe you may be in. Should we ever fly together you'll certainly see that while I AM negative about the condition off my employment, I am an extremely positive person in my real life at least when I'm paddling. Thanks for playing

ha! Funny, man.

As evidenced by this thread, many others feel your frustration. Just keep your ear to the ground, Newty. Opportunities are out there.

Feel free to vent all you like, especially if it makes you feel better. I was just a little worried that you were letting the profession get to you...it's not worth that much angst anymore.

But there's gotta be jobs that are better than reserve bro FO...even in this economy?
