Initial CFI: What would you do about a student who has persistent bad B.O.?

It's only funny until it actually happens. :(

Strange ...

Happened to me during a North American interview some time ago ...

CAPT: So, do you like beer ? Would you drink a beer on an overnight ?

ME: ( Thinking what do I say to this one ) ... Of course I like a beer or two. As long as there's plenty of time on the overnight.

CAPT #2: Don't worry about him, he just wants to know if someone will go out drinking with him.

Later, CC

Ha, during an interview? That's pretty funny! Yea I meant to extend this tread to all interviews as well.

I remember getting asked once, "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?"

I got asked a few years ago: "Do you believe in dinosaurs?"

Examiner ran through a loss of all hydraulics on a EMB-145. You go through all the checklists, talk him through the approach, long final, speeds, etc. Then he asks what would you do on short final, then on touchdown; no brakes, no reversers; aerodynamic braking. He was driving at shutting the engines down at touchdown, which is of course not in the checklist.
