This is a question my dad had back in the day... If you had to kill one of your parents, which one would it be?

A buddy of mine got back from an Aero Mexico interview recently. He was personally asked "Do you find your mother attractrive?" and one of the guys he was with said he was asked something along the lines of "how do you feel after you masterbate?"

Wow.

Appx 10 minutes.

250 an hour, 125 in 30 minutes, 62 in 15 minutes, 31 in 7.5 minutes...

Why did you assume statute miles?

Wouldn't it be easier to assume that since we're talking about knots (NM/hr) that we'd also be talking about Nautical Miles?

12 minutes

Correct you are. Inaccurate assumption on my part.

would it make a difference since the conversion would end up the same, 250nm vs 250sm, if you're doing 250nm/hr and 250sm/hr?

It wouldnt make a difference as long you are comparing apples to apples. A knot is 1nm per hour. So if someone asks me how long it will take to go a certain distance at a certain speed in knots, I would assume the distance they are talking about is nautical miles. If you start mixing statute miles and nautical miles, youll get all messed up.

Well, except for the fact the question stipulated knots - - that's NM/HR.

SM/HR really isn't an option at that point.

The only variable left for interpretation is the distance traveled in miles - - statute or nautical?

I'm used to working with nautical miles, so that would be my first answer.
