No ALPA for Eagle Flow-thrus

Why are Eagle flow-thrus going through the process of meeting with the company without an ALPA rep to assist them? The Eagle MEC seems to have a huge lack of concern about providing information and assistance to their pilots about the process and what to expect at AA.

This is nothing new. Virtually all of the current Eagle ALPA reps are much more junior to the flowthroughs and previously attempted to dream up a plan to force these senior pilots over to AA, many against their will. They even found sympathetic supposed negotiators (some of whom were not) of the agreement to support this idea.

The arbitrator found it to be incorrect, but since then many of these pilots have concluded that Eagle ALPA cannot be trusted to look out for them which is understandable. Supposedly ALPA has stated their lawyers reviewed this letter and found it to be completely innocent......................big surprise.

The Eagle pilot group is fragmented into various factions and is infested with apathy. Even various LEC councils are frequently at war with the DFW council a virtual battlefield over the last several years.

Eagle's pilots are in pretty sad shape and that's not likely to change anytime soon. It's going to be a very rough road ahead for sure.

Omg

Some of you guys are freaking paranoid! its a simple document!!! means you wont go after them if it turn out this the info in not exactly right. geeze!! get over it already. and if you signed up for your ALPA emails and participated in the Union this was discussed and disseminated to pilots. ALPA legal has looked over the document. What more do you want? get over yourself take the info and decide to flow or not flow.

exactly, does not matter what alpa says it's always a sour grapes response. let amr get in the liability game - most pilots never want to take responsibility for any choice they make - surprise it is a national epidemic.

Agreed. Some people are living proof of the old joke with the punch line "Every Thursday?"
