Hey mowie, can I get the latest scoop on hiring at IslandAir? I recently submitted a resume to the email address, but no response yet. The website has had a pilot ad since October 2005. I want to move to Hawaii and interested in a full time job with IslandAir. Any gouge on pay for year 2, 3, and 4 as a FO or CPT? Is there a number that I can call to talk to someone at HR or the Chief Pilot? Appreciate the help!

The pay gouge on this site is accurate. The next ground school has been postponed due to delay on the delivery of the other Q400s. HR and FLTOPS have been busy trying to figure everything out. Tiare in HR usually knows what is going on. If you call just ask for her. She is one HR person that minds when pilots call her. Haven't heard anything on more interviews, but I am guessing when the planes come in, things will start moving again.
