Yup from what I can tell, effectively Delta gave away Compass and Mesaba. And hope to get paid over the next several years. I am thinking more and more this was about dumping the flowthrough agreements more than anything else.

Hopefully all three of our MEC's will get together and prevent any sort of whipsaw if at all possible.

You can count on it.

Does this mean the "Mesaba New Hires" thread will finally die off?

So Sec 1.40.e Exception 2 states:

In the event the flow provisions of NWA LOA 2006-10 and LOA 2006-14 cease to be available, either at the feeder carrier affiliate referenced in such LOAs or at another carrier, the number of jet aircraft configured with 71-76 passenger seats specified in Section 1 B.40.d will revert to 85.

If they want to, it'll cost them. Reference my above post.

What's the max certified takeoff weight? If it exceeds 70,000lbs DAL scope does not allow it.

Edit: Looks like 64,500lbs. Passenger config would have to be 70 seats or less.

How will my pass benefits be affected? When will the benefits change?
There will be no immediate changes. However, in 2011 Mesaba employees will transition
to the “independent” regional airline pass travel program with Delta. That will mean the
loss of buddy passes, lower priority on some flights, equal privileges on Pinnacle Airlines
flights and some changes in pass-travel costs. We will keep you informed on the timing
and details of the changes.

Exactly what I was getting at... thus the sarcasm comment bruddha...

So who has the worse management? TSA or Pinnacle?
I am going with TSA-by a slight margin.
I feel bad for both Compass and Mesaba pilots. Reminds me of the day Mesa wanted to buy ACA and our CEO actually wanted us to support him because it was such a "good" deal for them.

ONE LIST.
Mesaba's Contract.

Now where's that copy of alpa's merger policy to see how bad I'm gonna get screwed in this deal.

We are merging lists, that is a fact. Be glad that both groups are ALPA or someone would be getting screwed.

All three groups are ALPA.

That sounds to me that the Mesaba pilots will be integrated into Pinnacle when their RJs are transferred over. Colgan just takes the Mesaba name after that.
