I'm not an interviewee. I am just that voice of reason in the back of your head. [deleted]. [deleted]. I'm just trying to educate the public and that is what you should be doing as well. The general public thinks were all arrogant over payed pilots. Stop keeping this industry down. |

I think that's one word, but regardless it's spelled PAID. So there's YOUR english lesson for the day. Now did we decide if Eagle actually makes you resign previous seniority? We busted the myth it isn't possible to hold two seniority numbers but that does not mean that Eagle can't ask you to resign. Did we get a definate answer on whether they do?
We do ask you to give up the number. |

it get's my vote for the most awsome first APCF posting ever.... |
So... Yes? I'm actually exited about interviewing there. If I get hired I would gladly surrender my seniority number. Any place that takes so long to upgrade shows the pilots enjy their lives there. For the new guys comming in, be careful where you go. You could end up in the right seat for a long time anywhere. At least at Eagle, you will have some self respect remain.

Since no one seems to be providing credible information to this source, I will. When you start with American Eagle, about two weeks before you start, you will get a letter through email stating "prior to entering training you agree to submit a letter of resignation to any airline you have recall rights with excluding US Airways, American, Delta, and United". It has nothing to do with ALPA, I have the same ALPA number here I had at my previous airline. If some starts a tread, and you are just taking a blind stab in the dark of how you think something should work, please for the sanity of others keep your thoughts to yourself. If the thread is about what you think should happen or speculation, by all means talk about how you think Republic is going to buy Southwest, or how Delta sold Mesaba and Compass so they could buy Mesa. But if someone wants a true answer to a legit question please bite your tongue.

I apologize for my errors, but in all honestly please just have a clue what you are talking about before you start throwing up on the keyboard what you think. |
