Where would AWAC get the rj's from? Would they pull them off of their current fleet? Just wondering, thanks.

That is the question of the year at AWAC. I just want to see a source for shaner77's post otherwise I don't believe it.

hey guys i've been here at skyway for about a year and heres what we know. yes we are hiring....for beech only, we will keep them until the end of 07. the air wisconsin thing has not been released yet but we are assuming they got the flying. as to the guys just getting hired they were told there is a chance of getting furloughed, it will all depend on people leaving and how many more 328s we get, 12 will be online in february and they are talking about more but who knows. skyway will be around for awhile because the leases on the 328s go through 2016 unless we are bought out, if anyone has questions go ahead and ask and ill do my best to help.

YES; if I had to guess, 75+% of the pilot group lives west of CVG.

In other words if you get any flying in the midwest it would go really senior. lol
Its likely a few junior CAs would take a downbid to hold MKE if we did indeed get Midwest flying, and I'd bet reserve would be fairly senior. MANY from Chicago/Milwalkee/Appleton will bid it to avoid PHL. You can make it from ATW or the Northern Chicago burbs to the MKE MX hangar in about 2 hours if you have a packed bag in the car... |

However, I don't believe AWAC will get the flying. Way too expensive. In fact, midwest was still meeting with awac and whomever was still left in the shooting match as of last week. Nobody knows who got the flying. It hasn't been awarded yet. |
I am not sure who else is in the shooting match. There are a lot of reasons we would get it, but I am still also not optimistic. This is dragging on way too long.
By process of elimination though I don't know who else is in the game, unless they might expand Skyway. I think it is AWAC v. AWAC here. |

I don't think a more ignorant statement could be posted. |

The best part about this quote happens to be that apparently Air Midwest does the flying for Midwest Airlines. Last time I checked we were Skyway, also known as Midwest Connect and Air Midwest is part of Mesa. So where ever you are getting your info must surely be correct. |
