I think the union's only leverage is working. Not one jet can leave the Mesaba Certificate until a JCBA and SLI is taken care of. There will be no SLI until a JCBA has been reached. I think Pinnacle has realized that unless they work with us, this purchase will be worth no where near what they were hoping. Everyone needs to stand strong and fight for a better contract. Everyone deserves more and be treated better.

I think we need more stickers and bag tags. I just like free stuff.

How about something that says.... "One (holding) company, one list, one contract." and then undernearth that you could mention that we aren't migrant workers, maybe a Fed Up Pay Us, or perhaps "I want to make more than 20k this year."
Just some thoughts from another fed up pilot.

So does that mean one seniority list and people can jump in between carriers like republic? Or does it mean that each company will have the same work rules and pay scale?

I'm scratching my head wondering how expedited will "expedited negotiations" be. Pinnacles idea of expedited may be warped!

45 days TOTAL start to finish. Right now looking at Sept 6th as a start date- the details for the negotiations will be getting worked on starting monday.

Same seniority list, same contract (so same work rules and pay scale), but I'm sure there will be fences up at least to start with.

My biggest concern is what happens at the end of the 45 days, and we haven't reached a deal? It sounds good, sure, but I've seen this company enter "accelerated negotiations" multiple times. At the end.....they still refused to budge on several key issues, so no deal was reached. I like the idea of the 45 day thing, and I realize that there are some financial pressures as well as angry shareholders pushing them on this. However, I've been slapped in the face too many times by this management team to get my hopes up.

Republic cannot jump between certificates. CHQ, Shuttle America, and Republic pilots are all on Republic Holdings but cannot go between certificates. Have a buddy who lives in GSO but is on the Shuttle Certificate. He can't even get GSO with the Republic certificate for whatever reason... Perhaps an RAH pilot can explain specifics on that part...
