I am pretty sure that number is zero...

4/5 Q400's, approximatley 40 pilots.

We have more Captains and F/O's than they are going to need for 3 airplanes doing COS, DRO, ASE, and?

They should already know by now what an asset we are (or not). BB's stance was that 11 Q400's was not sustainable, so 3 are?

Hopefully BB will realize that the Q400 can be a money making machine and they will bring all 11 airplanes and all pilots back

If he were smart we probably wouldn't have the worst debt to asset ration in the industry:eek:

rumor is it has something to do with the last three planes were owned by lynx and the financing for a buyer fell through so instead of letting them sit around they will be flying this winter.

There are 11 Q400s, if there are 5 in SDF then I would assume 6 would still be in Denver with one or more of those being used as spares.

FWIW...I saw at least one Lynx airframe sitting outside, taped up on the GA ramp at GTF about a month ago. It is my understanding there is a paint shop there. Several other Dash 8 'classics' and other random aircraft were parked there as well.

This is true. AirBaltic's financing fell through.

That is what the word was, also the same reason AirBaltic cancelled some of its hiring for Q400 drivers.

Sorry for the bum information. I know we have hired a good amount of the pilots over here and I thought I remember seeing a thread that Lynx was completely done.

Sorry about that folks.
