Apparently mechanics lost control while taxiing, possible brake failure?

Well, it was only a matter of time...I don't know what their training consists of to be honest, but based on what I saw in the picture...BUS TIE Connect light ON???

looks like the rotary coupling seized up.

requiring an ATP for mechanics would probably raise their hourly rate (as it'd become that much more difficult to find mechanics...) which would ensure that they'd STILL make more than the pilot flying the plane. LOL.

I remember when i was talking to a buddy at transstates who was working in the maintenance hanger. We got to talking about salaries and he mentioned that they started him at $20/hr...I said, "That's pretty good, especially when you consider that you get 40 hr weeks unlike the pilots" his response..."40 hour weeks? I'm working like 55-60 hr weeks" he was still stringing two or three days off in a row, and making more money than i was as a CA at the same airline...gah! lol.

Remember it takes 0 (ZERO) certificates/license to taxi an aircraft

Maybe time to think about that...

yeah, and it takes thousands of hours to reach Captain, but only a dripping wet dispatcher license to tell you where to go.
