I remember 196 as being in good shape. I guess that has changed?

196MJ is synonymous with Delayed, MEL, Deferred, INOP, 180 knots, etc... It does seem to fly pretty straight compared to a couple of the others...And, as long as the A/C works I don't care about anything else working...Within reason of course. Same goes for the whole Ham-Stan./Dowty "thing"....Just freaking fly the d*** thing!

You don't need no stinking hydraulics to taxi!:) Don't need them to stop either. Just don't put the props in feather on shutdown. Pull the fire handles.

This problem would go away for good and easily if the penny pinchers in MEM would shell out the money to put a tug or two in the mx bases to repo the airplanes instead of making crews and/or mx taxi the airplanes!

don't give them any ideas, they might take it out of your pay check to purchase a tug.

be safe everyone!

I dont know, I work there as a mechanic. The distance from the A-Gates to the hanger is well over a mile. Taxing them is actually easier for us mechs (I work for MAG we use the same hanger).
