The cost index speeds are filed on our flight plan, and our fuel numbers take them into account. I'm not flying faster and wasting my fuel to appease a whiny Pinnacle pilot, sorry.

Memphis has been backed up like nothing else in recent months--i'm not going to point fingers or anything (i know you guys have rigs--and wish we had them at 9e). However, it's getting a little ridiculous slowing down to 250 for in-trail spacing 240 miles out, every single friggin' morning on the arrivals (especially sw gate)...and 90% of the time, it happens immediately after they query an acey in front of us doing 260/270...

While i'm on here, thanks to the asa crew that rolled all the way to the end of 36r, telling the tower "unable" when instructed to turn left on papa and sierra 3, in what the tower and my crew considered an intentional attempt to make us go around...you gave me the opportunity to fill out a fsr for the first time in a few months...

I don't know what an "FSR" is, nor do I care. Sorry for the ignorance, but the three FOM's I've worked under had "no fault" go around policies. You gotta go around, go around. You don't have to explain/justify your actions.

But ANYTIME you gotta fill out paperwork for a go around, much less for something like an aircraft still on the runway, you should be questioning your company's practices. Not the guy that was on the runway.

Another spineless pilot talking smack on a forum. I find it hilarious that he never had the common decency to respond nor apologize. Who starts a thread with a paragraph full of nonsensical logic and doesn't have a rebuttal? Please Mr. Hotshot, I fly for ASA and not only am I laughing at your idiocy...but the fact that ill be doing 147 in my descents for now on and rolling to the end of "your" runway, stop, compose myself, lock the tiller, apply maximum thrust and laugh as you have to go around. God I love my job.

Looks like the original questions have been answered. I don't see anything else productive coming from this thread. Closed.
