Default Prepare yourself...(Pinnacolaba pilots)

Pinnacolaba pilots,

You've been forewarned and please prepare yourself for the bad news. I hate to be such a pessimist but we all know what the next update will say.
"after a long and tough 45 days of negotiating we were unable to get a ta, it only been 8,555 days since pinnacle has had a ta, stay unified and bohica." "oh and don't worry since the company has and will continue to negotiate in good faith we will won't have any informal picketing events in the forseable future, thanks for your hard work, blah blah blah"

Union guys, this isn't a bash against you, I do appreciate all of the hard work and effort but the last email seemed to prime us for upcoming bad news.

Yup.... never going to get a contract.

And silly me, I thought that Corp buying Mesaba provided us leverage.

if someone is just now preparing themselves they are way behind the curve. I would imagine everyone at pinnacle at least knew this was coming. like others have said at least I didn't get my hopes up this time.

Unofficial strike might be a solution (ya right, I know). Management will continue to bend around the rules to avoid increasing pay across the entire employee group. Hopefully everyone will call in "sick", because looking at our airline regional wages sure makes me feel sick...

I never thought we would get it done based on our history. However, I think its interesting how the tone of the emails have changed and it seems as if they are preparing us for the worst. I would be happy to get another ta and be done with this nonsense but we should know better.

So..... It's probably not a good thing I already spent the money from the upcoming raise. Time to go return the Corvette.

All I can say is thank you for making the sacrifices you have to this date in holding out for an acceptable contract. A lot of people bash you guys for working on sub par rules and pay. I just try to see it as you aren't going to just settle on your next contract. You guys have sweated this thing out for quite some time and I sure as heck hope that you don't just get sick of the negotiating and settle. You make them pay for all the years of sacrifice you have made.
