I don't like Gulfstream as much as the next guy. However, lets not forget. The pay-per-viewers are FO's. There are Captains there whom were hired off the street that actually got their job at Gulfstream without having to pay. At least this was the case just a few years ago.
Yeah sure, they might not have made the best choice in a regional airline. However, the Captain pay is better than Great Lakes or CummutAir. Working for a Gulfstream is acceptance of PFJ/PFT. |

So that means that they had to pay for a B737 type too??!? SWA = great people, great company, but the B737 type requirement, even if they'll interview you w/o it, sucks IMO. Justify it if you will, but that is something that I hope dies with the Airtran merger. OK, fire away... |
