Quote: Seriously? Lol. What's your excuse now?

I'm guessing his excuse now will be your lack of understanding sarcasm.....

Quote: Who really cares? Yeh I know, who really cares that RAH flys 100 people around for the cost of some 50 seat operators. Who really cares that every day you degrade our profession more and more.

37/hr for 100 pax = just plain wrong.

Please spare me the "oh we are working on it" speech. I've heard it now for the last few years.
No one said anything about how terrible the pay rates are. I agree they are horrible, you won't hear any excuses from me on that. I won't give you the "we are working on it" speech either. But the reality here is they were flipping out over Hat Brass not pay scales. Last I checked gossiping about someones uniform didn't have anything to do with how they are paid or what their contract looks like.

Also if you're so mad at us Republic guys for ruining your precious career then find a new one. I don't care what you or your aviation geek buddies think about our hats, shoes, blazers, or our pay rates. All I care about is getting paid a fair wage for doing what I do and there isn't dick any one of us can do about it right now.

Disregard. I have better things to do on a lovely day than this.

Like correcting grammar on the Major Airlines thread?

So OK, testing out new uniforms, that makes sense. I myself was just curious, we still have a bunch of guys out there at every airline that are gonna hate on all the other airlines for anything they do thats different from their own. Its the game we play.

Love it or Leave it

I remember NWA making a big deal out of giving us the hat badge after training was complete. Then I went to the airport and saw that the skycaps wore the exact same one! Made me laugh.

Who cares? This is a non issue. If management wants the uniform to be a clown suit, then you should wear it if you want to keep your job. Simple as that.

If you care about getting paid a fair wage for doing what you do:

1. Don't go to work for an airline that offers C scale wages just so you can "fast track" it to a mainline carrier.
2. If you made the mistake of disregarding 1, be prepared to take responsibility for lowering the bar, and putting pilots who make reasonable wages out of work.

Its getting really old hearing Republic boys complain how unfair it is that they don't get paid a fair wage, and its not their fault that RAH is growing/gaining all this flying as well as aquiring 190's. Most all of you volunteered to work for low wages, and that is the sole reason you are acquiring new equipment and growing rapidly. You are cheap labor. Take responsibility for your actions, and at the very least be humble. Lose the entitlement mentality.

We're all riding the same sewage barge. ALL the regionals are taking jobs away from mainline high paying jobs. You are just as guilty as all the rest of us regional pilots out there.

But, if being a keyboard guerrilla to your peers stokes your ego, I'm not going to stand in the way of your happiness.

Wow..what a funny thread. I'm not going to waste any time reading all the posts, but this I guarantee you that no RAH pilot is wearing anything Frontier related on their hats. Some Internet troll obviously has way too much time on their hands. Why the heck would they want to in the first place? What a joke.
