• New York (JFK) Picketing (Pinnacle)

The Pinnacle MEC will be continuing our picketing efforts with an event at New York's JFK airport on Tuesday, December 14th. Details are as follows:
Staging will begin at the air-train station for Terminal 3 between 11:45 and 12:00. We will be departing for the picketing area at 12:00.
If you come late, the picketing will be located between terminal 2 and airport parking.
Standard uniforms are required. Hats are encouraged but not required.
Dress appropriately for the expected cold weather.
If you are commuting in and need transportation from LGA to JFK, please use a shuttle service like Q Runner (718-846-4900) and bring a receipt to the event for reimbursement.

MESSAGE ME IF YOU NEED HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION FROM JFK/LGA/ISP...
We appreciate your support!!!
Thank You!

So where is the email from ALPA national on this?

Rama04 12-11-2010 08:23 AM

Seriously, if you don't want to walk, don't. But please don't post that stuff on here. Please have a little professional courtesy.

Rama, it is a valid question due to the fact that many PCL pilots are stating that National is supporting the picket and are in favor of it. The issue with the groups right now deals directly with the question is the PCL MEC going "rouge" on this or is there direct National support greater than picketing permits?

I realize that the point of your thread is to give information regarding picketing but I do not think it is far to slam him for asking that question

Gee, don't know. We just found out about it this morning.....and it's a weekend. I never got a "Support the UAL/CAL" e-mail from National the day they organized it, either.

Yeah, I think it is unreasonable to expect something so soon for this next event. I will be curious to see what, if anything, will be released by National in the days to come.

Juice,
What is your proof that ALPA National is NOT supporting us? We sent out an internal email at 3am this morning... take it easy guys. If you dont want to walk DONT. But for our BROTHERS who want to walk, here is the information.

I agree with you posting the information, I just did not think you should have jumped on that guy for asking where has National been during this. But as Kellwolf said, you cant expect info to be sent this morning for this next event. Will we will wait and see what is distributed in the days to come.

But nonetheless, I do not want to hijack this thread with the "where is National" talk. There are 3 open threads where that can be discussed. This thread is just spreading the info, I got that.

APLA national could hire Tinkerbell to fly over every hub and throw millions of flyers over every hub saying that that they did not support the picket was an obserd rumor, and the same people that don't believe it now wouldn't believe it even then. My proof is that they still think 9e management is a bunch of good guys bargaining in good faith. How many times do you guys have to burn your hands on the oven to realize you are playing with fire and going to get burned again???

Tinkerbell as in Nikki Tinker? :D
