How many of you guys sport the leather from MH? or do you go with another kind?

I avoid buying anything from M&H unless I'm using the uniform allotment.

I'm wearing a Pop's Leather jacket. You can find it here: Pop's Leather Custom Jacket.

I picked up a leather jacket from stopoverstore.com. Very nice, zip out liner, $189. Great for the cold winter.

Careful everybody. Don't let this thread turn into a "Does a leather jacket indicate a lack of professionalism, or are they just warm?" thread. I thought the stress of flying passengers around, dealing with low wages, commuting, and worrying about being furloughed was bad enough. I really don't want to have to stress out about what kind of jacket I wear.

Yeah, that's probably going to go away. Our "allotment" over here is about $20 a month but nothing on a yearly basis. I'm guessing Colgan gets an annual allotment to go towards uniforms like our FAs do. At this point, I don't even own anything M&H now that the belt finally worse out. Target pants and Pilotshirt.com shirts. Ok, I guess the epaulets are M&H.

I will take an extra $20 a month rather than $200 on your anniversary that you have to buy M&H overpriced junk. I bought the M&H leather a few months back because I had an allowance that was going to "expire" so I figured what the hell. Jacket is crap. Smells and the sleeves are too long as well as the wrist opening is way too big so your hands will disappear. Waste of money but would rather buy anything instead of having the company take the allowance back.

careful we (9e) already tried that in PA with less than stellar results....

Don't start that upside down epaulette crap. The next thing you'll know all the Q guys will be doing it because they fly 76 passengers.

Avroman 12-15-2010 05:42 AM

Now come on they can't wear them upside down. They don't fly jets. But as they fly the extra people they will wear them backwards to show that.

Saab pilots can get them tatood on their junk, because they are lowly prop puke and not worth minimum day pay anyhow
