Heard from a friend who works on the ramp that they are laying off 73 people from the ramp in PIT because there will no longer be express flying in PIT effective March 1 ?!?!?!

Pretty sure the miniscule TSA airways operation in PIT has no plans of disappearing...

They're not closing the Express operation, they just aren't going to handle it with mainline employees anymore. The mainline employees will be made redundant, and the handling will be done by someone else.
