Pinnacle VS..ASA non-rev benefits??

Not sure if this has been discussed before or not but I was wondering if anyone knows the major differences good or bad between the non-rev travel on DELTA that each of these airlines have? thanks....

But at least we have United at ASA....... Insert gun in mouth..... I tried to go to London last year and got bumped by a super crusty Delta retiree. We can pretty much write off non-rev travel at this point and expect to pay for the privelege. Just feel lucky for the occasional domestic jumpseat to the middle of nowhere!

I've heard you only get benefits for you and your companion at Pinnacle. Does anyone know if you also get buddy passes?

ASA has buddy passes (6), S3C (below retiree) and what we have that, I think, no one else has is priority travel on our own airplanes. (and Skywest's) We can bump a Delta person on a Skywest Inc.'s airplane. Not sure about the United side.

Don't believe it includes SKYW. We are S3 on ASA and S3C everywhere else. SKYW has the same deal, however they ride S3C on ASA.

On the United side we travel equal with UAL on ASA planes and behind them on everyone else. We obviously have priority on the jumpseat on all our planes.

You don't want buddy passes, they are worthless. I have never given a buddy pass out.

Just curious...did Pinnacle and ASA offer you employment and you are basing you decision of where to go depending on nonrev bennies? If so, don't :D

now if you're just curious all's well!

You're clearly not using them right, then. I have personally used them to travel all over and so have my friends and family. If you are expecting to use a buddy pass to go to Florida on spring break or to see grandma during Thanksgiving, you are going to be sorely disappointed...
