This is based on what? just a guess? Mesaba wants DOH does that mean it's going to happen? who knows. Each company wants different thing. We might get stright DOH all the way across. Who knows.

Actually, more guys at 9E need DOH versus XJ guys.

What is it for a Colgan Saab FO, a $10/hr increase? If they commute anyway it's a no-brainer. Especially when your 2009 hires end up in front of 2007 XJ/9E hires... not only a $10 raise but 17 days off w/ no weekends for the first time in their career as well.

This is assuming straight relative integration of the snapshot lists, which I consider likely. Also, I don't actually have the snapshot lists so it might actually take a 2008 Colgan hire date to make the above true :)

This is not going to happen... You wait and see... There is NOT going to be straight relative intergration.

Come on...really? Says who?

There are 4-6 people that know how things are going, and NO decision has been made. They're probably throwing everything on the table that we are...and in the end it comes down to one man's "arbitration".

Sit back and enjoy the show...

Should this SLI not be DOH? If there were straight integration a 2009 hire couldn't precede a 2007 hire. Some people sit back and say these things just happen, and that's why they happen.

You guys are wasting your time and causing undue stress with no facts.... Just let your guys work for you and wait for the outcome. Hard to do and understand, but in that regard everyone is in the same situation. Speculation will simply breed emotional responses and bring nothing good to the endeavor.

If your goal is to try and top weather, then stay out of the 200. In the summertime, you usually crap out in the climb somewhere around FL270. I would rather be at 12000 fighting my way through it, then at F300 going slow and wishing I had more power, altitude and airspeed. The only jet that is worth the move for is a 900. And only because of the cities it flies to.

I'm a 9E guy hired in 2007, and I would love DOH.

Higney85:

1. Can you confirm the exact date of arbitration solely by Bloch, if it comes down to it? Like, what is the date at which all 9 pilot SLI guys say "yup, we're done, now it's all up to Bloch."

2. How long will he need to give his result?

3. When will the result be out, as in, when is the latest date?

4. May 1 is effective date of new list, correct?

And yet we on the Saab who have been fighting it out might rather have the option of getting up to FL270 and clearing most of the weather.... I guess it is just a difference of opinion.

It's rarely a good idea to try to "top" the storm anyway, even in a jet...
