I understand, I was about to say: "I know he has his CFI but I did not recall him having his ATP." And of course the obvious: Trenary not being flight crew, so who cares about a busted PC, wouldn't have taken one anyway.

He wasn't fired, he's a major shareholder and great friends w/anderson? I'm sure he has a position at Delta and Bendoraitis's job of shrinking Comair down to nothing is complete~so my guess is he will be the new CEO. Whatever they are all in it together, all trained by Lorenzo.

I think the Q4 loss was the last nail in the coffin of a long line of transgressions against "stakeholders."
Performance penalties, bad investments, accidents, and being a villain in the 'Frontline' expose were all contributory.
I think they took a gamble last summer by not firing up the hiring machine. Performance has been awful since. The house collected this month.
If you're looking for more proof, it's simple. Phil Trenary resigns. Less than a week later, Flight Ops announces hiring plans of 250+... nearly 3x the original 2011 plans.
Running lean just doesn't run anymore. Via con dios, PT.
