New ATL terminal
#3
Off of good ol' wikipedia
In July 2003, current Atlanta mayor Shirley Franklin announced a second international concourse, which will also have its own terminal. The new terminal will be called the Maynard Holbrook Jackson, Jr. International Terminal. It was slated to open in 2006, however time and cost overruns led general manager Ben DeCosta to cancel the design contract in August 2005. The very next day the company sued the airport claiming "fraud" and "bad faith", blaming the airport authority for the problems. This will likely push back the terminal's completion to 2010. [2]
Also scheduled to be completed for 2010 (though it too may be pushed back now) is a South Gate Complex, a new terminal south of the current terminals. The new terminal is expected to include approximately 31 gates.

Are you talking about the stuff thats going on inbetween Runways 10/28 and 9R/27L? If so I've heard it may be a new Delta Connection Terminal but everyone has also been saying that it will Porbably be for Airtran which is more understandable. Airtran wants everything in their own terminal. Most airtran passangers originate from other airtran flights so going thru all the song and dance in the main terminals is a waste of time.

The construction by the tower is the new international terminal. Not sure why we need a new international terminal since the old one is only about 10 years old and half untilized.
Airtran is building their own terminal on the south side of the airport.

Because she likes doing things and taking credit for them. Ever since Atlanta has been run by Mrs. Franklin, all she has done is close up the little things that have given Atlanta it's personality, and make the bars and nightclubs close early, and replace them with condo's, office space, and "plug and play" stores and restaurants run by corporate america. Atlanta used to be so much fun, now there's a Target, Moe's, Bed Bath and Beyond etc etc etc.. on every corner, while the little bars and stores are being run out. She changed the name of the airport, changed the State song to a hip hop song, and makes all the bars close by 1:45am instead of 4am like they used to, and she thinks this is an international city? She sucks. Ok sorry, that was a little off topic.
